ECerS Bioceramics Network Student Speech Contest
ECerS and its topical BIOCERAMICS NETWORK (BC) invite young researchers working in the field of bioceramics to compete in an on-line contest, that will be held on 17h and 18th April 2024. This contest is supported by the JECS Trust and the Young Ceramists Network (YCN).

Candidates can be:
- MSc and PhD students
- Post-doc researchers, with PhD awarded not before the 18th April 2023
Rules:
- Before February 26th, 2024: candidates are required to send a short abstract, according to the attached form, for a pre-selection by the Jury (maximum 15 participants)
- Before March 18th, 2024 : Notification to the candidates the admission to the contest
- April 17th and 18th 2024: on-line contest, consisting on 10 min presentation, followed by 5 min questions by the Jury
Awards:
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions will be awarded with 1000 €, 800 € and 600 €, respectively
- Winners will use the contribution for the participation to conferences, workshops, schools organized or supported by ECerS. More information concerning how to use the awards can be asked to info@ecers.org
"Extra" Awards:
- The recorded presentations of the three winners will be uploaded on the Bioceramics Network website
- The 15 participants to the contest will have the possibility to post their work on the Bioceramics Network website and social pages (LinkedIn and Facebook)

Results of the 1st Bioceramics Student Speech Contest
The ECerS Bioceramics Network is delighted to announce the winners of the 1st Bioceramics Student Speech Contest, which took place online from 17 to 18 April 2024!
Next Deadline to apply to the JECS Trust is 31st May 2024!
Please note that the decisions of the JECS Trust board will not be known before end of July 2024. Activities submitted for the deadline of 31st May 2024 for support from the JECS Trust should then not begin before mid-August 2024.
