Students Speech Contest 2025

ECerS and its topical BIOCERAMICS NETWORK (BC) invite young researchers working in the field of bioceramics to compete in an on-line contest, that will be held on 6th and 7th November 2025.

Candidates can be:

• MSc and PhD students
• Post-doc researchers, with PhD awarded not before the 7th November 2024

Rules:

• Before June 30, 2025: candidates are required to send a short abstract, according to the attached form, for a pre-selection by the Jury (maximum 15 participants)
• Before 30th September : Notification to the candidates the admission to the contest
• November 6th and 7th: on-line contest, consisting on 10 min presentation, followed by 5 min questions by the Jury

Awards:

• 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions will be awarded with 1000 €, 800 € and 600 €, respectively
• Winners will use the contribution for the participation to conferences, workshops, schools organized or supported by ECerS. More information concerning how to use the awards at info@ecers.com 
• Presentations and/or proceedings presented at these conferences have to acknowledge JECS Trust

"Extra" Awards:

• The recorded presentations of the three winners will be uploaded on the BC website
• The 15 participants to the contest will have the possibility to post their work on the BC website and social pages
